Lake San Marcos

Nestled in the North San Diego County coastal foot-hills, just minutes away form the pristine beaches of Carlsbad, La Costa, and San Diego, is the golf resort community of Lake San Marcos.  Origionally developed in 1962 as a lakeside residental retirement community this area has vastly changes over the last 10 years.  According to the 2000 census there were aproximately 4,100 residents living in this community enjoy all the amenities of living close to the city yet they can enjoy the lifestyle of living in a resort!
